Kodo Automotive is a fitment-first parts retailer for JDM, American muscle, Euro, and exotic builds. Every part we list is matched to a specific chassis and engine code — because the wrong bracket, wrong bolt pattern, or wrong reservoir clearance turns a $2,000 upgrade into a weekend lost.
Why Kodo exists
Most parts sites treat fitment like an afterthought — a dropdown, a vague “fits 2003–2007,” a return policy that punishes the buyer when the OEM bracket doesn’t line up. We started Kodo because we’ve been on the wrong end of that experience too many times.
Our catalog is built chassis-up, not brand-down. You search by what you drive, not by what we want to sell you. If we don’t have verified fitment data for your car, we say so — we’d rather lose the sale than ship the wrong part.
Who we are
Kodo is based in Concord, in the Bay Area. It’s enthusiast-run, started by the same person who built Kuru — an iOS app for car enthusiasts — after years deep in the scene. The car industry has been a lifelong obsession: late nights chasing fitment data, weekends in garages, the kind of attention to chassis detail that most parts sites flatten out. Kodo is the parts-side companion to that obsession — a store that respects what you actually drive and sells parts that actually fit. Every brand on our line card is sourced through authorized channels: direct manufacturer partnerships and authorized US distributors. No grey market, no counterfeits, no “we’ll figure it out at the warehouse.”
What we carry
We focus on the categories enthusiasts actually upgrade: suspension, wheels, tires, engine internals, cooling, exhaust, lighting, and exterior. We’re currently in the dealer application phase with authorized US distributors and direct manufacturer programs — the line card is being built the right way, through approved channels only. Brands will be announced here as approvals come through.
How we ship
Most orders ship within 1–2 business days from supplier warehouses across the US. Typical delivery is 3–7 business days depending on your location and carrier. Free shipping on orders over $150 in the continental US. Verified-buyer reviews only — we don’t pay for fake ones, and we don’t filter the bad ones.
